Alts went 3.5x in 2023-25. They still lost to Bitcoin.

We went back through every altcoin cycle since 2015 to see what the real seasons had that the weak one didn't.

  • Cheap money. Rates after inflation were under 1% at the start of all five real seasons, and 2.46% in 2023.
  • New cash. Stablecoins grew 62% to 305% before the big ones. Before 2023-25 they shrank.
